The Bronze Award Goes To:
Night's Dominion #2 (October 2016)
By Ted Nifeh

Night's Dominion is another comic being distributed by Oni Press and Ted Nifeh who you may know from his past Courtney Crumrin arrangement.

The principal issue sets up the story in a dreamland Tavern with the meeting of a Thief, an Assassin, a Street Magician, a Cleric, and a Bard. The Bard claims he has an arrangement to take treasure from a well off keep in their city.

Our characters don't hop ideal on board. The Bard appears as though he's an incredible storyteller, and most likely, an ace controller. Yet, as the aftereffect of situation everybody gets on board before the finish of the issue.

While I was fascinated by the principal issue, and energized for a Dungeons and Dragons style dream comic arrangement, I was not sure I needed to get my trusts up. It was too early to make any informed decisions. The characters had just barely met and we had just observed a small amount of the world and the resistance.

In the wake of completing this second issue I get myself completely contributed and prepared for the following. Issue two tosses our recently framed group directly into a heist. I adored the character elements. What's more, the new plot component which appears at last has me all in for whatever remains of the arrangement.

Ideally more individuals who cherish dream funnies will lift this title up.
The Silver Award Goes To:
Another Castle #5 (October 2016)
By Andrew Wheeler & Paulina Ganucheau

The fifth issue of Another Castle finished the miniseries.

All through this arrangement, Misty, Princess of Beldora, is caught in the Kingdom of Grimoire where the malevolent Lord Badlug chases her to end up distinctly his Bride.

En route she has made numerous companions among the subjugated masses and took in the stories of their battle for flexibility which fizzled numerous years prior.

It's fortunate Misty is not the kind of princess to sit inactively by and sit tight for Prince Pete to spare her, since things are not searching excessively extraordinary for him. She has the boldness to face Badlug and the yearning to retaliate for her mom and these recently discovered companions.

In any case, she needs an arrangement.

The conclusion to Another Castle was incredible. I felt associated with all the different characters and put resources into the destiny of their reality. Cloudy makes some magnificently gallant and notable choices the distance until the end to roll out improvements to her reality.

What's more, the entire story comes wrapped up in a lively pink bow.
The Gold Award Goes To:
Monstress #7 (October 2016)
By Marjorie Liu & Sana Takeda

Monstress is back!

Issue #6 of Monstress had wrapped up the past story curve and flagged the arrival of an exchange soft cover, so I thought about how solid of an issue #7 would need to be to persuade perusers to return into the world.

Obviously, issue #7 was phenomenal. We end up in another part of the world with marine ships and discusses lost islands so far away that whole teams would starve attempting to contact them.

We saw the youth home of Maika half wolf, and it is unquestionably not what I was anticipating.

The general population here in the dock town appear to carry on with an alternate way of life than ones we have met some time recently. They appear to have manged to flourish through the war and its result, giving them an altogether different perspective from Maika. Sana Takeda has the effect set up clear in her utilization of hues.

This arrangement highlights numerous creatures who are part creature, or humanoid creature, and I truly need to think about whether I would have been keen on this story if Takeda and her to a great degree itemized, refined, workmanship was not on the venture. Done another way, I think it could have risked looking like grown-up Kung Fu Panda, and I am certain I would have passed ideal by that on the rack.

Until next month!
